Healthcare Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) Spring 2024 Conference:

Definition: Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) is a designation based upon the evaluation of criteria established through regulation by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) to identify geographic areas or population groups with a shortage of primary, dental, mental health care professionals in a Medical Service Study Area (MSSA). Scores are updated every three years.
